Teachers & voluntary helpers.

Help us create safe, welcoming weekend park sessions where people of all ages can build fitness, confidence, friendship and responsible self-defence skills.

Teach with purpose

Care

Bring your experience to a new community.

We want responsible martial arts teachers, boxing coaches, self-defence instructors and strength trainers who believe good teaching is about discipline, confidence and helping people—not encouraging confrontation.

Help shape the weekend arena.

Teachers lead the training. Voluntary helpers make the whole community day possible.

I

Lead a class

Deliver safe, engaging sessions suited to the age, ability and experience of each group.

II

Share your methods

Contribute useful ideas to an open-source approach that other responsible teachers can improve.

III

Build belonging

Help beginners feel welcome and turn regular training into strong, positive friendships.

IV

Volunteer to help

Welcome families, help set up marked areas, support events and keep the day organised. No martial arts experience is needed.

Our teaching standard

Safety before ego.

When working with children, young people and adults at risk, appropriate safeguarding must always come first.

Suitable experience and responsible instruction
De-escalation, awareness and escape taught first
Age-appropriate classes and parent or guardian involvement
Appropriate safeguarding, checks and insurance before teaching
Respect for every background, ability and fitness level

Starting locally

Exeter first. Devon next.

We are starting in Exeter and want to hear from teachers in nearby communities who may be interested as the organisation grows.
